Here is a closer look of the fans we are installing in the upper level bedrooms. They are Hunter Fremont 52′ fans. After seeing the smaller fans in the bedrooms we decided to replace them with these larger ones. They do not hang low which is great since the ceiling height isn’t that great to begin with and we’re loving the shape of the blades. The dark tones will be echoed throughout the house. Good looking fans . . . if you opt for the remote kit, I suggest buying the remote kit from Lowe’s . . . they are cheaper than Home Depot and are much easier to use than the ones that come with the fans. We’re slowly replacing all of our original remotes with the one’s from Lowe’s (the least expensive ones).
We decided to not have remotes in the bedrooms but have been shopping for a remote for the living room fan (we’re also still shopping for the living room fan). We’ll have to look at Lowe’s for a fan & remote. We already bought an entry way pendant from Lowe’s that we love and could not find anything close to it at Home Depot or Menard’s.
